Soya Malai Chaap Recipe – Chatty Bear Homemade Recipe

As we all know Soybean is a great source of Protein. The best alternative option to kill the protein need in a vegetarian’s body. It is undoubtedly a versatile dish and one of the best culinary surprises ever which can be enjoyed in the form of stir-fries as well as gravy preparations. The juicy and succulent Soya Malai Chaap Homemade Recipe is made up of soybean mimics which provides similar to the texture of meat brilliantly, making it a delicious treat not just for vegetarians but meat lovers too.

Ingredients

  • 6 Sticks Soya Chaap (easily available in the market)
  • 150 ml Cream (Amul Cream is good in India)
  • 1 Small Cube Butter For greasing
  • Salt & Black Pepper as per the taste
  • 1 TSP Chaat Masala (You can easily find it in the Asian section of the superstore)
  • 1 TSP Lemon Juice (Can squeeze in raw lemon or use packed citrus juice)

Soya Malai Chaap Recipe – Instructions

Here is the step by step for the simple Soya Malai Chaap Recipe :

  1. Take the soya chaap and wash it with a little warm water
  2. Now coat it evenly with butter
  3. Roast the soya sticks on gas or u can even use sandwich maker (I did on a sandwich maker that’s much easy & convenient)
  4. Once it turns little golden brown, remove from the toaster and keep it aside for 5 min to bring it to the room temperature.
  5. Remove the sticks and cut the same into small pieces
  6. Keep the pieces in a bowl, add cream, salt, black pepper, lemon juice, and chaat masala and mix it well
  7. Garnish the same with little coriander and onion rings.
  8. Use green chutney, the best dip to enhance the taste.

Materials
