Milk with Bananas

Though the dish is quite popular in many parts of the country, it is challenging to digest this stuff as Bananas and Milk both have a completely different nature. The consumption of this dish may disrupt the balance of intestinal flora, which results in the creation of toxins.

Yogurt with Fruit

Ayurveda suggests avoiding cold yogurt with fruits to take care of your health. Mixing any sour fruits with dairy items can diminish your digestive fire. So it is strongly recommended you should at least make it digestive friendly by eating it at room temperature.

Cheese and Beans

Beans are astringent and sweet in taste on the other hand Cheese tastes predominantly sour. This food combo may affect the urine, feces, sweat, and tissues – sometimes even at the cellular level. Cheese and beans have distinct post-digestive effects which may result in the accumulation of ama.

Meat and Potatoes

Animal contains lots of protein while the potato is full of starch and carbohydrates. Eating protein enzyme and carb enzyme together will make everything unclean and the result will be gas and flatulence in the system. Experts say that proteins digest the best when the acid levels of the stomach are higher. Similarly starches digest best when the alkaline levels are higher. But when you ingest proteins and starches together the digestive environment is unable to get either acidic enough or alkaline enough to properly digest both food groups.

Tea right after your meal

As tea leaves are acidic and having tea right after the meal will result in the slower digestion of protein eventually not getting benefit from vitamins we had in our meal.
